The world of flexible packaging sometimes dives into elaborate industry concepts and terminology that can get confusing. Don’t worry— we have a solution! Meet Mr. Flex Pack, your new friend and guide to a more sustainable future. He’s here to test your knowledge and educate people of all ages on the ins and outs of flexible packaging. Plus, just look at that face!
The most recent addition to the Test Your Knowledge corner is the interactive Drag & Drop Recycling game, which puts your sorting skills to the test. One of the most important parts of a circular economy is the end-of-life cycle— which falls on you as the consumer. Drop various products into the landfill, compost, or store drop-off bins to learn if you’re right and what is being done in the industry to improve recycling infrastructure.
You might recognize some typical household products like plastic shopping bags, cereal bags, bubble mailers, and water case overwraps. Other standout products may surprise you with their recyclability and highlight manufacturers such as PPC Flex, Glenroy, Inc., Printpack, and more! Place each product in the correct bin to learn more about these components and get the packaging to the right place in real life.
To make the learning process more fun, Mr. Flex Pack has put together a page full of games. From matching to myth-busting, check it out here!
